April 12, 1864, General Nathan Bedford Forrest
led a Confederate attack on Union forces at
Fort Pillow in Tennessee. Forrest's attack resulted
in the deaths of hundreds of Union soldiers.
This DVD includes the 57 min. documentary as
well as twenty minutes of supplementary interviews
with Civil War historians, a seven-minute "Teaching
and Learning with DVD" segment, and DVD-ROM
text files of speeches by Nathan Bedford Forrest.
